About This Course
Hayes & Associates has developed a six-week online financial literacy course to empower 80-100 small business owners and entrepreneurs with practical financial knowledge to manage and grow their businesses.
It is funded in part by the North & South Omaha Recovery Grant Program (NSORG), which supports post-pandemic economic recovery in the North and South Omaha areas.

How do people sign up?
People can sign up online. Visit hayes.cpa
Is it live or flexible?
It’s flexible. Two modules are completed per week, but they can be completed at any time. Hayes will also offer specific times for participants to meet with subject-matter experts from the firm, allowing for in-person engagement as participants go through the modules.
What do participants receive at the end of the course?
A certificate of completion is awarded upon completion of all modules and quizzes.

Is the course really free, and how is it funded?
Yes, tuition is waived thanks to funding from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development’s North and South Omaha Recovery Grant Program. The course is valued at nearly $1,000 per person. Participants will receive a free code throughout 2026. NSORG is a Nebraska Department of Economic Development initiative created to support post-pandemic economic recovery and growth in historically underserved communities. Hayes & Associates was awarded the grant funding to develop and lead its new financial literacy program because of the firm’s long-standing role in serving culturally diverse business owners.
